Core & Restore Pilates 🌟Transforming lives through Pilates with small class sizes, by emphasizing progress over perfection.

“Mat Pilates is too hard for me.”

If you’ve ever thought that, you’re not alone.

Maybe you’ve tried a mat class before. You walked in feeling nervous, unsure where to grab a mat, wondering if everyone else knew something you didn’t. It seemed like people had their favorite spots, knew every exercise, and moved effortlessly while you felt lost trying to keep up.

By the end of class, you left feeling discouraged instead of empowered.

What you really want isn’t a perfect workout. You want to feel capable. You want to challenge yourself, surprise yourself, and leave knowing you can do hard things even when you’re still learning.

That’s exactly why we created our Summer Pilates Mat classes.

From the moment you walk through the door, you’ll be guided every step of the way. You’ll be welcomed by name, shown where everything is, and supported through a thoughtfully designed class that builds movement layer by layer. No guessing. No feeling behind. No pressure to be perfect.

Just a place to begin.

All you have to do is take the leap and show up willing to be a beginner.

Imagine walking into class feeling excited instead of intimidated. Imagine standing taller at the end of class, feeling stronger, more energized, and more confident than when you arrived. Imagine leaving already excited for your next session.

That’s the transformation waiting for you.

☀️ This summer, give yourself the chance to discover what you’re capable of.

Shoot us a DM if this is the summer version of yourself you’re looking to discover and we will send you the details to get started!

We can’t wait to see you on the mat! ✨

You always wanted to join a Pilates studio, but every group fitness class seemed to end the same way.

You’d walk in nervous, then spend the class feeling self-conscious, trying to keep up, and wondering if everyone else knew something you didn’t. Instead of leaving empowered, you left discouraged.

What you really wanted was a place where you could learn confidently, move safely, and feel supported.

That’s when you found us.

Rather than being thrown into a crowded class, you started with private sessions designed specifically for new clients. Together, we discussed your goals, movement history, and concerns. You learned the equipment, practiced foundational movements, and built confidence in a low-pressure environment.

Step by step, those private sessions became the bridge to something bigger.

Before you know it you’re thriving in group classes, looking forward to every session with excitement instead of nerves. With small class sizes, personalized cueing, and instructors who truly know their clients, you’ve discovered what Pilates was always meant to feel like a welcoming space where progress is personal.

Three months later, you’re stronger, more flexible, standing taller, and more connected to your body than ever before.

The transformation wasn’t just physical.

You no longer walk into class wondering if you belong.

You walk in knowing you do. ✨

If this is the feeling you’re looking for in a Pilates studio you’re in the right place ✨

You want to try Pilates, but you’re worried you aren’t strong enough. You’ve heard how challenging it is, and the fear of not being able to keep up is holding you back.

What you really want is to book that class without overthinking it to walk into the studio feeling confident, excited, and ready to try something new, even if it challenges you.

Maybe you’ve tried before. The online workout program that never stuck. The gym membership that barely got used. Consistency felt hard, and now you’re worried about failing again. Maybe “failure” looks like not being able to do every exercise perfectly or feeling like everyone else is further along than you.

But the truth is, you don’t need other people’s opinions or even your own self-doubt to decide what you’re capable of.

You need a Pilates studio where instructors guide you every step of the way, showing you how the equipment supports your body as you build strength. You need a community that encourages beginners and reminds you that everyone starts somewhere.

Because it’s better to try and discover what you’re capable of than to stay stuck wondering.

All you need to do is take the leap and show up, giving yourself permission to be a beginner again.

With every session, you’ll build strength, confidence, and trust in your body’s capabilities, leaving the doubts behind and proving to yourself that you can do hard things.

✨ Ready to start your Pilates journey? Book your first class today and discover just how strong you’re capable of becoming.

We used to think Pilates had to look perfect as instructors, every movement executed flawlessly. Coming from competitive backgrounds and careers rooted in movement, physical therapy and massage therapy, we were trained to focus on precision and performance.

But life changed both of our stories.

In 2020, I became a first time mom and newly postpartum I felt completely lost in my body. My exercise routine wasn’t doable anymore like before, I felt disconnected in my body. In 2023, Maria suffered a devastating arm fracture after falling and questioned whether she’d ever be able to work again as a massage therapist.

We both had to start over.

That’s when we fell in love with the messy middle of Pilates, not the perfection, but the progress. The real transformation happened through consistency, patience, and learning to trust the process of rebuilding.
We’ve both experienced the initial fear, frustration of the slow progress, self-doubt, and the days we didn’t want to show up. We’ve questioned whether we were even making progress at all. And slowly, we regained confidence in our bodies again, but quietly knowing there’s still more work to be done.

We forget so easily how far we’ve collectively come, but we both remind each other where we were. We still value working towards being able to do an exercise to its full potential, but more greatly appreciate the progress we’re making.

These experiences shaped our “why.” They taught us to celebrate progress, even when the journey isn’t finished yet. And we know with certainty feeling supported and less alone in the process truly makes all the difference.

Follow along as we keep growing together ✨

We asked clients “Why do you love Core & Restore Pilates?”

“I just love how patient and intentional they are with their instruction. They really make it a friendly environment for everyone and it makes me feel confident in my Pilates journey.

As a heavily introverted individual, I truly appreciate the inclusivity and consideration Maria and Lauren have towards everyone. I think it truly sets itself apart from the other studios I tried in the past. I’m always reminded that everyone is working towards something and it’s a shared journey that I am thankful to be a part of.

Everyone starts somewhere, if you want to start a journey in Pilates or just wellness in general, Core & Restore is an amazing place to start for anyone in any stage of life. “
-Shuntel

Shuntel has been with us since day one and it’s been an honor to have her in the studio. We truly feel it is a privilege to serve all our clients as we walk with them on their Pilates journey. The greatest reward is seeing their success in and out of the studio.

If you are looking for an encourager, an accountability partner and someone to meet you where you are in fitness (even if it is the beginning) and to believe in you even when you falter, you’re in the right spot 💛

Follow along to see the transformations happening in the studio or DM so you can experience it for yourself. There’s always going to be a spot for you in the studio ✨

As we observe Memorial Day tomorrow, we want to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country.

We also wanted to let you know that our studio will remain open and operating on our normal class schedule throughout the holiday. We look forward to moving with you and welcoming you into the studio tomorrow.

If you want to take some time in the morning to unwind with some movement before the activities of the day, we’ve got you. If you’re looking to take some time at the end of the day to let the busyness of the day go on the reformer, we’ve got you as well!

We wish you a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

We finished a Pilates Tower class last night, and it was one client’s very first full Pilates Tower class. After class, I asked her how she liked it.

Her response stopped all of us for a moment:

“I know this class was challenging for me, but I’m amazed I can even do this because 6 months ago I never could have. I used to struggle just to sit straight up in bed when I got up, and now it’s easy.”

We all looked at each other and said, “That is AWESOME.”

It was such a good reminder that even when there’s still work to be done, it’s important to pause and celebrate the small wins along the way.

I’m often guilty of reaching one goal and immediately moving on to the next without fully appreciating the progress it took to get there. But growth happens in the messy middle, in the little moments that slowly add up over time.

One of our favorite parts of the studio is celebrating those wins with our clients, both inside and outside of class. The smallest changes can end up being the biggest transformations.

We’d love to hear one small win you’ve had this week drop it in the comments so we can celebrate with you 🤍

Any fellow parents who can relate? 🙋‍♀️

I had barely pulled out of the driveway when one of my girls asked me to hand her something from the back seat. 😅

Honestly, being able to twist around and help my kids in the car is something I don’t want to think twice about during my day. That’s one of the reasons I love Pilates — all the rotational movement and mobility work makes everyday moments like reaching for snacks, water bottles, or dropped toys so much easier.

Now I don’t think twice when I hear a little voice from the backseat asking for something, I just worry about whether I’ll have time to get it to them during the next stop light.

If you want to make everyday mom life a little simpler, come join us for a Pilates class! Message us to get started 💛

Happy Mother’s Day to all versions of motherhood. We’ve seen countless versions of “what it means to be a mother” walk through our studio doors.

The nervous excitement that comes with someone expecting their first.
The seasoned veteran who looks on with knowing eyes of what’s to come.
The caregiver of an elder transitioning from the child to taking care of a parent.
The mother figure who doesn’t have children, but offers practical perspective and lends a hand to ease the burden of motherhood on a friend.
The longing of someone to enter into motherhood or grieving a loss.
The look of exhaustion in their eyes while in the trenches of littles, but welcoming a quiet space to connect with adults.
The sharing of cute fur baby pictures on their phone to other clients.

We love seeing all the mothers walk through our door. The conversations and connections that happen to create a supportive atmosphere before class, during class, and after class hold a special place in our studio. We feel very privileged to have some amazing mothers that trust us to walk with them in their wellness journey.

Wishing you a day full of connection and moments just for you in your season of motherhood. 🌷
