This Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we’re celebrating volunteers who are supporting brain health and the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
Michael Evans participates as a runner in the Akron Marathon for Do What You Love to End ALZ. Plus, he gets the added benefit of supporting his own brain health in the process!
“One healthy habit I do every day to support my brain is stay active – whether that be running, biking, hiking, swimming, rock climbing, weight lifting, paddle boarding or pickleball. I do this because staying physically fit helps to challenge my brain, lowers stress, improves my mood and reduces inflammation – all factors that can contribute to the prevention of Alzheimer’s. Join me in doing what you love to help end Alzheimer’s.”
Take charge of your brain health – it’s never too early or too late to start. To register for Do What You Love to End ALZ, visit alz.org/dowhatyoulove.
