Skin patches are easy to brush off, or to guess about. But guessing can mean weeks of using the wrong product while the real problem goes untreated. 🔍

Many skin conditions look alike at first glance, yet each one needs a different kind of care. That’s why the most helpful step isn’t searching online. It’s asking someone who can look properly.

If a patch keeps coming back, won’t settle, or is affecting your sleep or confidence, a doctor visit can bring real answers. There’s nothing awkward about it. Skin concerns are one of the most common reasons people see a doctor.

And once you have a diagnosis, our pharmacists are here to help you understand your treatment and check how it fits with anything else you take.

This World Psoriasis Day, let’s look beyond the skin, and look after it too.

Halloween brings more sweets into the home than almost any other week of the year. Bowls of candy sit on counters, kids trade treats with friends, and routines get busier than usual. That’s exactly when small things are easiest to miss: a vitamin bottle left out, a new face paint tried for the first time, or extra sugar for someone managing their health.

None of this means skipping the fun. It just means planning ahead. Our pharmacists put together a few simple habits to help your family enjoy the night safely. 👆

If you’re unsure about a product, a medicine, or how treats fit into a health condition, stop by and ask us. That’s what we’re here for.

Happy, healthy Halloween! 🎃

Myth: The bathroom cabinet is the best place for medicines.

What’s really going on: Showers make the bathroom one of the warmest, dampest rooms in the house. Medicines are made for steady, dry conditions, so a room that swings between hot and cool and dry and damp is a tricky home for them.

What to do: Check the label, and ask us if you’re unsure. Every medicine can be a little different.

What does “take with food” on your medicine label really mean? 💊

It means taking your medicine during a meal or right after eating. Here’s why it matters: food can cushion your stomach, and for some medicines it also helps your body absorb them properly.

Labels are short, so it’s easy to wonder:

• Does a snack count, or do I need a full meal?

• What if I’m not hungry today?

• What if I forget until later?

The answers can depend on your medicine, which is why we never want you to guess. Please don’t skip a dose or change the timing on your own. Just ask.

At Stadium Pharmacy, no question about your medicine is too small. Stop by or call us at 816-356-4600 or https://stadiumrx.com/services/pharmacist-consultation/ and our pharmacists will explain exactly how to take yours.

Think about the last time you walked into a pharmacy. Chances are, the first person who greeted you was a pharmacy technician. 💙

For many patients, that first hello sets the tone. Someone may be feeling unwell, worried about a new prescription or just tired after a long day. A warm welcome and a patient answer can make the whole visit feel easier.

But the welcome is only a small part of what pharmacy technicians do. Working alongside our pharmacists, they:

✅ Help prepare and label prescriptions with careful attention to detail

✅ Keep medications organized and stocked, so what you need is ready

✅ Handle refills, phone calls and questions about your orders

✅ Help with insurance and paperwork, so you spend less time on hassle

✅ Pass your questions on to the pharmacist whenever you need expert guidance

Much of this happens out of sight, but you feel it in a smooth, safe and friendly experience.

To every pharmacy technician; thank you for your skill, your care and the way you make people feel welcome. 🌟

Happy Pharmacy Technician Day!

Most of us were taught to wash our hands with soap and water. Fewer of us were taught what to do next.

Drying is part of the job. Germs transfer more easily from wet hands than from dry ones, so walking away with damp hands can undo some of the good you just did. After you wash for 20 seconds, finish with a clean towel, or simply let your hands air dry.

It is a small habit, but it matters most where people are most vulnerable: at home with children, older family members, or anyone who is recovering from an illness. A clean towel that is changed regularly, or a paper towel, makes the last step easy.

This Global Handwashing Day, wash, rinse and dry.

When your parents live far away, worry has a way of following you through the day. Did they take their morning medicines? Did they get the evening ones? Did they mix something up?

You can't be there for every dose, and that is a hard thing to accept. But missed or confused doses often come down to routine: several bottles, different times, and a lot to keep track of. The simpler the routine, the easier it is for your parent to follow, and for you to check in on.

That is what our Pill Pack Service is for. Medicines are sorted by day and time, and delivered to their door, so each dose is ready when they need it. And your calls can change from "Did you take everything?" to "Did you take today's pack?"

It will not replace their doctor or pharmacist, but it can take one big worry off your shoulders.

Ask us how our pill packs work for your family. Give us a call at 816-356-4600.
