Join High Point Village and Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS as they celebrate a major milestone for the future of High Point Village: the groundbreaking of its new residential community.

Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS has committed $100,000 toward the residential project, with the gift being matched by an anonymous foundation for a total impact of $200,000.

The new residential community will create opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities to experience greater independence in a safe, supportive community designed with their needs in mind.

The initial plans include a respite house and four residential homes.

Lubbock Monterey Ambucs had 5 members travel to Myrtle Beach for National Conference!

There’s nothing quite like getting together with Ambucs members from across the country who all share the same passion for making a difference in their communities. We’re all united by one mission: creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

What an incredible 104th National AMBUCS Conference!

Myrtle Beach brought the good beach vibes, but it was the inspiration, connection, and passion for AMBUCS that made this week truly special.

A huge thank you to our incredible keynote speakers:

Little Levi Krystosek - for sharing his personal story and reminding us of the power of possibility and perseverance.

Accessibility with Aspen Sage - for bringing a powerful perspective on accessibility and the importance of creating communities where everyone can participate.

Hartranft - for sharing his experiences and challenging us to think differently about inclusion, opportunity, and the impact each of us can make.

And a special congratulations to AMBUCS Therapist of the Year, Paige Clement, whose dedication to her profession and the AMBUCS mission represents the very best of what we celebrate.

Thank you to all of our education session speakers, local physical therapy clinics, nonprofit partners, and the GS Miracle Leagues. We’re also grateful to the Hilton Myrtle Beach for hosting us and to Debut Media for helping bring the week together.

Thank you to our conference sponsors, Trek 4 Trykes sponsors, fundraisers, and participants for investing in AMBUCS and helping make this conference and the work we do all year possible.

But most importantly, thank you to our members.

On behalf of the National Staff, we are overwhelmed by the motivation, love, and compassion poured into AMBUCS this week. We leave Myrtle Beach with the fire burning brighter than ever, ready to help our chapters grow, spark new ones, and bring the AMBUCS mission to even more communities across the country.

This week may be over, but the work continues!

Charlotte Waldrum, current Southwest Region Big Hat Director, for receiving 2nd Place in the National Ambuc of the Year Award!
