Laila is a 6 yo cutie patootie presenting for an onset of imbalance and instability about 6 months ago. Laila is a very interesting case, she has a hypermetric gait (overstepping) + ataxia (incoordinated gait) of which I specifically suspect as a cerebellar ataxia origin. Cerebellum is a part of our hindbrain that is responsible for many things, including motor skills and balance. As a secondary effect, Laila also has hyperextended carpi or wrists. (Dropped wrists)
