Ohhhh helps every time!

Tonight in bed, do a slow 60-second body scan. Toes to forehead, one area at a time. That's the whole habit.

A body scan pulls your attention out of worry and into sensation. As you notice each part, your parasympathetic nervous system switches on, your heart rate drops, and your mind quiets.

This is how you tell your body it is safe to rest. Bedtime stops being the moment you brace for sleep and becomes the gateway to it.

EmpowHer Health Collaborative will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026 in observance of Memorial day. We will resume our new extended business hours the following Tuesday May 26th, 2026.

Of all the time waiting of all the rude people coming in I saw this man having a moment and today I recognize it was just a little bit of kindness that he needed his pictures to follow. He told me I could post it such a sweet soul thank you DC for all the lessons. I’m glad to be home. See you all tomorrow in clinic.
