JHD Board President Rodney Norsworthy presenting Newton County Judge Ronnie Cochran with an AED and Stop the Bleed kit for the Newton County Courthouse.

Donated by JHD, our program to provide basic life saving equipment to high occupancy public buildings, along with CPR training, continues.

To date, we’ve donated 100 AED’s and Stop the Bleed kits throughout the service area.

During cardiac emergencies, CPR and AED’s save lives! Here is a story that proves this.

Did you know that the Jasper Hospital District provides free CPR classes and offers free AED’s to high occupancy businesses/entities open to the public?

This program has been in place for two years and to date, we’ve distributed 70 AED’s and have provided CPR/AED training to 412 people.
