I've lost too many friends to this.💔
SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH.
We spend a lot of time talking about physical health.
Pain. Mobility. Energy. Sleep. Recovery.
But your brain is part of your body too.
Your nervous system is part of your body.
Your ability to rest, calm down, sleep, think clearly, handle stress, and recover all matter.
That’s one reason I believe PEMF belongs in the bigger wellness conversation.
I’ve watched people come through my door wound up, exhausted, stressed, overwhelmed, hurting, or carrying things they don’t talk about.
Then they get an hour.
They breathe. They relax. Sometimes they fall asleep. Sometimes they tell me their mind finally feels quieter or they sleep better afterward.
Over the years, I’ve worked with people dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism, schizophrenia, trauma, chronic stress, poor sleep, and many other challenges.
I have seen things that got my attention.
People become calmer. People rest. People sleep. People seem more settled, more present, and more like themselves.
I’m not promising every person will respond the same way.
But I’m also not going to pretend the brain, nervous system, sleep, stress, recovery, and mental wellness are separate from the rest of the body.
They’re not.
That parasympathetic “rest and recover” side of the nervous system matters.
Sleep matters. Mental calmness matters. Giving your body time to slow down matters.
And sometimes giving somebody one quiet hour where they don’t have to perform, provide, fix anything, or pretend they’re okay matters too.
This September, I want to talk more about the things we don’t always see.
Because someone can look perfectly fine on the outside and be fighting something incredibly heavy underneath.
Check on your people. Listen a little longer. Give a little more grace.
And take care of yourself too.
