A little message from the PT to any patient out there: Progress is not linear. 💪🏻👵🏻🙏🏻

I can honestly tell you from my experience on “your” side of the treatment table, that our own progress is hard to see. This week I was able to hold a 17.5 # weight for the first time since surgery, the next moment I nearly break my hand on a crab claw. (True story)

It is hard to see the little changes day to day when it comes to pain or limitations that keep us from the things we love. This type of emotional roller coaster can really derail your progress, or cause you to give up just as you are making strides! Our goal at HomeFront is to not only get you physically better, but treat the WHOLE experience (not just the person!)

I just wanted all of you to know, I get it. As your PT I completely understand the physical, mental, and emotional toll and injury can take on the patient. We know how to walk through it with you, because I have walked through it myself. (Well, still walking, technically) 😬
