This pregnancy is so different than my first✨

My first felt like this rebellious revolutionary act, wild from the start, burn you to the ground kind of force. I was cornered into the change. No way out but through.

This pregnancy feels like coming home. The welcoming that you experience after a long trip. A warm and soft embrace. A remembering that feels ancient.

Both I needed. Both have changed me. So I am grateful, for it all. One baby brought the other. And so it goes, all that’s left is to keep trusting and to keep surrendering.

This birth • this mom and baby • have stolen my heart✨

To hold a woman while she tells you about the horrific loss of her child at birth. And then watch her reclaim that story by birthing his sister on the exact day of his passing years later, will forever and I mean forever be a memory that changed me.

The Divine timing of this birth, the exact day, the strength you had to have to even walk this path, will forever make me weep.

It has been the biggest honor, holding you my dear, witnessing the strength it took to even get to this point. Her birth was redeeming and you reclaimed it for yourself and your family. Oh my Midwife heart, will hold this one for a long time🤍

Been carrying the best secret, my biggest passion, and the greatest love.

What a honor to have been chosen by this soul, to walk this path I have held so many mothers through. To be mama does something to you. It brings this soft fierceness. Something I always knew I had but maybe forgot along the way.

This year so far, wow, what do I even say✨

To my sonshine, to the beauty that will unfold, the happiest of tears from me and Jacob as we step into the initiation✨

The Summer Sacred Born Photoshoot is on the calendar!!!!

June 13th from 11-3pm!!!!

Same place as last year!! Jack’s Natural Playground, 240 Powder Hollow Rd, Unicoi TN 37692

Theme this year: Think 90’s Summer Vibe

What to wear: All things Denim and White, think cute Denim dresses, White shirts, overalls and all the baby denim

What to bring: Bring a snack for you and your littles, I will be bringing some refreshments. I will also have a big tent this year for moms and babies to relax in.

This year there will be two Amazing Photographers who can do one on one photos of you and your babies, documenting these moments of motherhood. After the event we will share the photo link with yall!

All are welcome, bring your friends and let’s keep growing stronger✨

I am sooooooooooo excited to do this again! Last year was amazing! Even if it did rain on us😉 I’m excited for everyone to get together because when women gather yall good things happen!!!!!

Alrighty!!!!!! Next Mama Meet Up!!!!

March 7th 12-3pm at the Clinic✨

It’s gonna be a Plant and Seed Swap party!

*The theme is to bring a house plant you want to give to another family( maybe doesn’t fit your feel anymore) and then bring home a new plant. New Spring energy!

*Also bring your seed packets that you maybe don’t wanna grow and go home with new seeds you can grow for your family.

*Even seedling starters are welcome for those starting gardens early

*The vibe is All Spring Ahead🎉 so feel free to dress like we are about to Spring out of here! Spring dresses and winter coats are recommended. Of course there is gonna be photos taken💓

I might be wearing a spring dress with flowers in my hair! Full on!!!

As always it’s about bringing women together! You don’t have to do this alone.
