💊 Get to know Casey!

We want y’all to know a little more about the newest pharmacist behind our counter, so we asked Casey a few fun questions! 😊

❤️ What do you enjoy most about working in a community pharmacy?
The relationships with patients are probably what I enjoy most. I like getting to know people on a personal level and being someone they feel comfortable coming to when they need help. I also enjoy the problem-solving side of pharmacy and finding ways to make things easier for my patients.

💙 What are you most excited about in joining The Medicine Shoppe team?
I’m excited to continue serving the community I’ve been a part of for many years while working in a smaller, close-knit pharmacy. I’m looking forward to bringing the experience I’ve gained over the past 10 years and having more time to focus on taking care of patients and building meaningful relationships.

🌳 What do you like to do when you’re not behind the pharmacy counter?
I’m a big sports fan and a dad of two, so a lot of my free time is spent watching my kids play soccer, volleyball, and basketball. I also enjoy hunting, spending time outdoors with my family, and firing up the smoker whenever I get the chance—brisket, pulled pork, and wings are some of my favorites!

🏈 What’s your favorite sports team?
The Kansas City Chiefs! I’m a big football fan, so fall is definitely one of my favorite times of the year.

💊 Meet our new pharmacist, Casey Jones!

We are so excited to welcome Casey to the Medicine Shoppe family! Casey went to pharmacy school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and has spent the last 10 years serving patients right here in Jonesboro as a pharmacist at CVS. Many of you may already recognize a familiar face, and we’re excited for even more of you to get to know him!

Casey shared, “I’ve spent my career in community pharmacy, where I’ve had the opportunity to build relationships with patients and become part of the community I serve.”

Casey is looking forward to continuing to serve the Jonesboro community, now as part of our Medicine Shoppe family. 💙
