This free community event will offer practical tools, insight, and conversation around grief, loss, resilience, and healing. A reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by Dr. Leary’s presentation at 6 p.m. and a panel discussion with community members.

We're pleased to welcome Alexander Steinberg, MD to the care team at Bartlett Surgery & Specialty Clinic. Dr. Steinberg is based in Juneau and started his clinic schedule this month.

Our pulmonology clinic allows our community to receive expert care for lung conditions right here in Juneau. Services include general pulmonary evaluation for all lung diseases including lung nodules, masses, cancer, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung diseases including pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis, pleural effusions, and evaluation for lung symptoms including shortness of breath, chronic cough, chest pain, etc.

Talk with your doctor and determine if a consult is right for you.

Reminder: The Emergency Department entrance has moved to the channel side of the hospital due to construction. Large signs and a temporary drop-off area are visible in the roadway. The ED remains open 24/7. We apologize for the disruption.

All other patients need to use the main hospital entrance to register Monday - Friday starting at 6:00am. The ED entrance remains the main hospital entrance after hours and on weekends and holidays.

Bartlett Regional Hospital recently earned a five-star rating from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) patient experience survey.
Only 250 U.S. hospitals received a five-star patient rating, and Bartlett is the sole five-star recipient in Alaska. Congratulations to the amazing team at BRH for earning this recognition! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Bartlett Regional Hospital, along with a group of community partners, recently hosted a World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Event. One hundred and thirty-seven parents, babies and toddlers came out to participate and take part in a beautiful day, community building and resource connection. Families took part in the bubble station, art activities for kids and adults, snacks for all, wonderful giveaways, a family photobooth, and a large group “feeding” photo.
There were many helpful resources and community support connections made. Bartlett Beginnings and Bartlett Glacier Pediatrics were joined by Valley Medical Care, Juneau Family Birth Center, Public Health, Southeast Childhood Collective’s Parents as Teachers Program, Foundations Physical Therapy, Bustin Out Boutique, Affinity Mental Health, Southeast Birth Collective, and Raebelle’s Photography. Thank you, Juneau, for a wonderful event!

The Annual World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Event is coming up on Saturday August 1st, 10am-12pm at Twin Lakes Shelter. There will be activities for littles, snacks for all, drawings for prizes, and a group photo at 11am. Join us to connect with organizations and resources in town that work to support mothers and families of small children.
