As Disability Pride Month comes to a close, Disability Pride continues every day.
It lives in our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our schools, our parks, and in the everyday work of building communities where everyone belongs.
At SAIL, Disability Pride is reflected in the work we do year-round, supporting people with disabilities in living independently, advocating for accessibility, and creating opportunities for everyone to participate fully in community life.
But creating a more accessible Southeast Alaska takes all of us.
We'd love to hear from you!
Tell us about:
-A local business that's making accessibility a priority.
-An inclusive community event.
-A disability-owned business you'd like to celebrate.
-Or simply share what Disability Pride means to you.
Together, we can continue building a Southeast Alaska where everyone feels welcome, included, and valued, not just in July, but every day of the year.
Thank you for celebrating Disability Pride Month with us. Let's keep the conversation, the advocacy, and the community going.
