🎶 What an exciting week we’ve had at Caremoor! 🎶

We were so thankful to welcome the Jammin’ Singers for a special visit. Their music, energy, and joy filled our community, and our residents had a wonderful time singing along to some favorite tunes. There’s nothing quite like the power of music to bring people together and create lasting memories!

🎵🥤 Today we traveled back to the 1950s and visited our favorite soda shop! Our residents enjoyed taste-testing a variety of classic sodas while sharing memories of days gone by. We spent time reminiscing about favorite songs, dancing memories, and the tunes we’d always play on the jukebox. It was a sweet afternoon filled with laughter, nostalgia, and great company!

At Caremoor, creating meaningful moments and celebrating cherished memories is what we do best. ❤️

🌽 A Trip Down Memory Lane at Caremoor Retirement Community 🌽

This week, our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning on the front porch shucking fresh corn with the help of our staff. As they worked together, many shared cherished memories of shucking corn alongside their parents and grandparents during summers long ago.

The stories, laughter, and fellowship made for a special experience, but we think everyone’s favorite part came later—enjoying that delicious fresh corn at dinner! 😊

Moments like these remind us that some of life’s sweetest memories are made around simple traditions and shared experiences.

🎄☀️ Christmas in July at Caremoor! ☀️🎄

We had a holly jolly good time celebrating Christmas in July this afternoon! 🎅✨ A huge THANK YOU to Santa, the wonderful ladies of Elder Orphan Care, and all of our amazing volunteers who made the day so special.

From creating our own gingerbread house scenes to an epic indoor snowball fight, delicious Hawaiian-themed food, and plenty of laughter — it was a festive day to remember! 🌺🍍❄️

We were especially grateful for the presence of children at this intergenerational event — seeing young and old come together brought so much joy to our residents. Their smiles said it all! 💞 We’re already looking forward to the next chance to share moments like these across generations.

Santa reminded us there are only 150 days until Christmas, and we’re happy to report that all of our residents are still on the Nice List! 🎁💕

🍇🍊 “Fruit of the Spirit” Fun at Caremoor! 🐾✨

We had a sweet time during our “Fruit of the Spirit” activities last week! Residents came together for an uplifting afternoon filled with Bible study, heartfelt memories, joyful conversations, and—of course—a colorful feast featuring fresh fruit AND Fruit Loops! 🌈🍓🥝

Even our favorite therapy dog, Aji, joined in the fun and brought smiles all around. 🐶💕

It was a beautiful reminder of love, joy, peace, and all the good fruits we grow together here at Caremoor. 💜

🌾 A Simple Joy of Country Living 🌾
Today was a special day at Caremoor! Our residents gathered to watch the hay get baled — a peaceful, familiar sight that brought back wonderful memories for many.

The scent of fresh-cut hay, the hum of the tractor, and the golden fields sparkling in the sun… sometimes, it’s the simple moments that bring the biggest smiles. 💚

We had a star-spangled celebration with the wonderful ladies of Elder Orphan Care and our favorite guy, Aji! From festive crafts and patriotic accessories to sweet treats and lots of laughter, it was a day full of joy and community spirit.

We had a wonderful time yesterday at the Grace Place at Caremoor Open House! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to show their support and learn more about the exciting things happening at Caremoor. Your presence truly made the day special.

A very special thank you to Mayor Darrell Hinnant for his thoughtful remarks and continued support of our vision for Grace Place. We are so grateful for the community leaders who believe in the future we’re building together.

We’re thrilled about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more updates as Grace Place continues to grow! 🏡✨
