What an incredible evening! 🎉

A heartfelt THANK YOU to over 100 registrants who joined us virtually and in-person for The H. Pylori Shift.

From physicians and advanced practice providers to pharmacists, dietitians, and healthcare professionals across our community, we were honored to spend the evening learning, sharing ideas, and discussing the future of H. pylori care together.

The energy in the room, the thoughtful questions, and the collaborative spirit reminded us why these conversations matter. As treatment strategies evolve and new evidence emerges, it is through education and partnership that we continue to improve patient care.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to be part of this event. We are grateful for your engagement, your dedication to your patients, and your commitment to lifelong learning.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and seeing you at future educational events.

With gratitude,
💚 Dr. Vivian Asamoah & the Houston Gastro Institute Team

Many patients wait longer than they should before seeing a GI specialist.
Not because symptoms aren’t there, but because they’re hoping things will resolve on their own.
And sometimes they do.
But when they don’t, that delay can make things more complicated than they need to be.
Digestive symptoms often start subtly:
- occasional bloating
- mild reflux
- changes in bowel habits
- discomfort that comes and goes

At first, it’s easy to ignore.
But over time, these symptoms can become more persistent, more disruptive, and harder to manage. And while not every symptom is serious, some may point to conditions that benefit from early evaluation, such as inflammation, infections, or changes in the digestive tract that need closer attention.

Addressing symptoms early allows for:
✔ a clearer understanding of what’s happening
✔ more targeted treatment
✔ and often a simpler path to improvement

👉 If something feels off, it’s worth checking, not waiting.
