Today's Peer Support Tidbit is 🌿disconnection🌿
"We may feel disconnected from ourselves, from other people, from our community, or from the things that once gave us a sense of purpose and belonging. Sometimes it happens because of difficult experiences, major life changes, isolation, stigma, or simply feeling like no one understands what we are going through. In peer support, we recognize that connection can be an important part of moving forward. Connection doesn’t always mean having the right words or solving a problem—it can simply mean being heard, being seen, and knowing that someone is willing to sit alongside you. Through shared experiences and genuine relationships, peer support can help create a sense of belonging and remind us that even when we feel disconnected, we are still worthy of connection."
