To help make things a little easier to understand, we've put together a quick step-by-step guide showing exactly what you'll see on the terminal during a debit card transaction.
Before you approve your transaction, the terminal will display:
💳 Your withdrawal amount
💵 The rounded withdrawal amount
💰 Any change you'll receive back from the rounded amount
📋 The processing fee
✅ The total amount that will be charged
The terminal will also let you know that your bank may charge an additional fee for ATM-style transactions, depending on your financial institution.
