The Night Owls did it!

For nearly 10 months, these students showed up after work, gave up their evenings, studied, practiced, asked questions, supported one another, and kept going.

But somewhere along the way, they became more than classmates. They became a close-knit group of future massage therapists who learned together, challenged one another, and grew together.

That's something we value deeply at Synergy. Small classes allow our instructors to know their students, provide hands-on guidance, and help each person build a strong foundation of knowledge, skill, and confidence for the career ahead.

To our newest graduates, The Night Owls, we are incredibly proud of what you've accomplished and can't wait to see where you take it from here.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique)
Performed by our two ACOLS-certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapists.

MLD is a gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the natural movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. It may help reduce swelling, support recovery, and promote relaxation.

The infraspinatus is one of the four rotator cuff muscles and plays an important role in external rotation and shoulder stability.

It helps control the head of the humerus during movement and supports the shoulder during reaching, lifting, and overhead activity. Because of its role in shoulder mechanics, it is often involved in common shoulder pain and movement restrictions.

Muscle of the Week: Supraspinatus

The supraspinatus is one of the four rotator cuff muscles and plays an important role in starting shoulder abduction and helping stabilize the shoulder joint.

Even though it is small, it has a big job. It helps the deltoid lift the arm and supports shoulder mechanics during overhead movement. Because of its role and location, it is often involved in shoulder pain and common movement restrictions.
