Today, as Bree travels to New Orleans with her daughter for heart surgery, we ask our community to join us in lifting her family up in prayer. We pray for safe travels, skilled hands, a successful surgery, comfort, strength, and peace throughout this journey.

Yesterday’s ice cream flavors were vanilla bean gelato and milk chocolate and they were an absolute favorite at our facility! 🍦🤎

Our ice cream machine continues to be such a hit with residents, families, and visitors, and truly one of the sweetest amenities we offer at Calcasieu Community Care Center.

We wrapped up Nurses Week with so much joy, laughter, and love for our amazing nurses! 💙 From manicures, facials by Bare Skin Beauty, tacos, Westlake Wings, donuts from Sissy’s, Jo’s Party House cupcakes thanks to Christi Reeves with Brighton Bridge Hospice, chocolate treats, and a beautiful charcuterie board by our very own Stephanie Lewis, every moment was well deserved.

We truly love and appreciate our nurses for all they do every single day! 🩺 next stop Nursing Home Week!!!

Who remembers parachute day in elementary school? 🪂❤️ Today our residents brought back one of the best parts of 90s recess and had an absolute blast! Laughter filled the room, smiles were everywhere, and for a moment everyone felt like kids again. Moments like these are what make life at Calcasieu Community Care Center so special.
