Let's make stepping practice FUN! 🙌

💙 October is Dyslexia Awareness Month!

The signs of dyslexia can appear long before a child learns to read 📖

Dyslexia is more than a reading challenge. It can affect spelling, reading comprehension, written expression, and language skills. But dyslexia does not define intelligence or potential. Many children with dyslexia bring incredible creativity, curiosity, and unique ways of thinking ✨🩵✨

Speech and language difficulties can be indicators of future literacy challenges, yet these connections often go unrecognized until a child falls behind in school. At Infinity Kids, we work with children during these critical years, giving us an opportunity to recognize these signs sooner.

A special thank you to BreeAnne Eck, SLP, for educating our team and sharing screening tools to help identify children who may benefit from further evaluation and support.

With early identification and evidence-based interventions, including Structured Literacy, children with dyslexia can make meaningful progress and thrive.

When a child refuses to read, write, or participate, let’s stop asking why they won’t try harder and start asking whether we’ve taught them in a way they can learn 📚

October is Physical Therapy Month, and we could not think of a better way to celebrate than showing off the team that makes Infinity Kids what it is.

Pinching, rolling, and sprinkling build the hand skills kids need for buttons and zippers. Getting dressed is more than just getting ready. It's a great opportunity for kids to practice independence, coordination, and confidence.
Try these fun ideas at home:
• Let your child choose between two outfits
• Practice dressing a favorite stuffed animal
• Turn getting dressed into a silly song or game
• Celebrate the effort, not just getting it right!
Small everyday routines can become big opportunities for learning and growing.
