Ever wonder what these EMDR tools actually do?
EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation—like eye movement, light tracking, or alternating vibrations—to help the brain process difficult experiences and memories in a safe, structured way.
Bilateral stimulation engages both sides of the brain, creating a bridge between the logical and emotional centers. This bridge allows a person to process difficult memories in a more regulated way.
The light bar and pulsators are two tools that may be used during EMDR sessions to support regulation, focus, and healing.
Every therapy journey is unique, and these tools are just one part of the process. 💙
