OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

In a world filled with constant noise, distraction, and acceleration, where do we encounter stillness?

WovenSmart invites artists to submit work for The Space Between, a contemporary exhibition exploring the tension between overwhelm and clarity, fragmentation and focus, exhaustion and renewal.

We are seeking work that reflects the emotional, psychological, and human experience of modern life. Artists working in painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation, poetry, sound, and experiential formats are encouraged to apply.

More than an exhibition, The Space Between is an immersive exploration of reflection, attention, presence, and what it means to reconnect—with ourselves, with others, and with what matters most.

Selected artists may also have opportunities to participate in artist talks, reflective gatherings, and creative experiences throughout the exhibition.

“The Space Between” invites artists to examine the emotional, psychological, and sensory realities of modern life while exploring the moments that help us reconnect with ourselves and one another.
We welcome submissions across a wide range of mediums including:

What is WovenSmart? It’s more than a studio.
It’s a place where creativity, mindfulness, strategy, and community come together to help people and organizations grow.

🤝 meaningful gatherings and events

Earlier this winter, WovenSmart quietly reached its one-year anniversary.
In the middle of the holidays, and the start of a new year, I didn’t want to rush past what that moment meant. Over the past couple of months, I’ve been reflecting on the first year - the people, conversations, collaborations, and experiences that have shaped this space.

Thank you to everyone who has attended an event, supported the vision, partnered on ideas, or simply shown up with curiosity and openness.

WovenSmart was created to bring together creativity, meaningful conversation, and intentional growth - and it exists because of the community around it.

I’m deeply grateful for the first year and excited for what the next chapter will bring.
