🌫️ STAY INDOORS TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING

Dangerous air quality continues across the region, and it’s only getting worse. Many spots across the northern half of the area are sitting between 400–800 AQI, with some readings even higher.

For context:
300+ AQI = Hazardous
We’re running well over double that in several locations.

The thickest part of the smoke plume is expected to move through between 7 PM and 4 AM, with only gradual improvement through the day Friday.

🔥 AQI values could spike as high as 1,000 tonight.

If you can stay inside, do it. Keep windows closed, limit outdoor exposure, and take this seriously.

Here’s a little snapshot of the supplies I mailed out to .ohio this week for a presentation and art experiential focused on coping with secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and burnout. We gotta keep our helpers supported in complex times while doing deeply needed work on behalf of our Ohio community members! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️I’m thinking Callie and I need to turn this into a CEU training & also maybe it needs to reach more professionals, outside of other mental health industries. Where do you think professionals need to hear and practice these real life tools? 🫶🏻🎨🖌️🫁

Welcoming two Clinicians to the Recreating Dawn team who are ready to support you -

Kristin (she/her) is telehealth only, her EMDR training in progress so she can start using those skills right away and will be able to take most of our insurance plans!

Callie (she/her) can do telehealth or in-person sessions at our Lakewood, Ohio location. Callie is looking to apply Emotion Focused Couples skills to relationship sessions. She can take clients private pay, reduced rate & soon our Medicaid plans!
