My name is BriAnn, I am the owner of Wholehearted Connection, LLC. I have a master's degree in Counseling and Human Services, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Colorado, and I am a Registered Play Therapist. I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years and have experience in many facets, including:
Crisis response where I offered assessment and support for indivi

duals at risk of harm to self or harm toward others; Assessments and evaluation; Therapy with individuals of all ages in individual, group, and family formats; And supervision; where I offer supervision of both new and seasoned therapists and providers. I am excited to announce the launch of my private practice and I look forward to continuing quality care and services for Southeast Colorado!

A message from the newest member of the Wholehearted family:

Hello! My name is Sage Cole, and I am excited to be serving as a student intern with Wholehearted Connection. I have always had a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in my community. One of the things I enjoy most is being able to bring joy to others and build meaningful connections with the people around me. This internship provides an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and gain valuable experiences while doing something I truly enjoy.

I am currently a junior in high school and stay actively involved in both school and community activities. I participate in volleyball and basketball, which have taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. I am also a member of my school's choir, where I enjoy expressing creativity and collaborating with others through music.

In addition to my extracurricular activities, I serve as a Student Council representative and as the Community Service Chair for my school's FBLA chapter. These leadership roles have allowed me to strengthen my communication and organizational skills while helping plan events and service projects that benefit others. Giving back to my community is something I value deeply, and I enjoy finding ways to make a difference through service and leadership.

I am especially grateful for the opportunity to intern with Wholehearted Connection and work alongside such a wonderful group of women. I look forward to learning from their experiences, developing new skills, and contributing wherever I can. I am excited for all the opportunities this experience will bring and am eager to continue growing both personally and professionally while being part of this amazing team.

We had the privilege of presenting again at this year's Prowers County Sheriff's Office Youth Academy. This amazing program gives youth a unique opportunity to explore law enforcement, emergency response, mental health crisis response, and the judicial system. This is an incredible opportunity for youth to gain new skills, build their resumes, receive free college credits, and compete for scholarship awards.

We were honored to attend the banquet to celebrate the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of this group of young people, and award the Wholehearted Connection, LLC scholarship to a young man who was attentive, respectful, and a standout among the participants.

The evening also provided an opportunity to connect with State Representative Ty Winter, the keynote at the event, and explore ideas for strengthening mental health initiatives and support services in our rural communities.

We are grateful for the dedication of the Prowers County Sheriff's Office, community leaders, families, and youth who make programs like this possible. Investing in our youth today helps build stronger, healthier communities for the future.

🚀🌌 Calling all young explorers! 🌌🚀

This summer, Wholehearted Connection, LLC is blasting off into an out-of-this-world space-themed Skill Building Group for Kindergarten through 3rd grade students! 🌟🪐

Our little astronauts will explore emotional regulation, friendship skills, confidence building, communication, coping skills, and teamwork through hands-on activities, games, creativity, and galactic adventures! 👩‍🚀✨

We are also thrilled to welcome Sierra Buxton to the Wholehearted team for the summer! 💫 Sierra serves as the school counselor at Washington School during the school year and brings incredible passion, experience, and heart to working with children and families. We are so excited for the fun, connection, and growth she’ll bring to this group!

This summer, the team at Wholehearted Connection, LLC is bringing connection, healing, creativity, and a little bit of magic to our group lineup! ☀️🎬🪄💛

⚡ Calling all witches, wizards, and muggles — our Harry Potter inspired groups will explore courage, friendship, and finding the magic within yourself. (Yes, sorting hats may be emotionally involved.)

👶 Hey new Mamas!! Do you have questions? Need to make sure this is normal? Want someone to just understand what you're gong through and maybe hear a friendly voice say, "Oh. My. Goodness. Me too!!" Join us from the comfort of your own home in a space for built for support, honesty, encouragement, and connection . . . because motherhood deserves a village — and maybe a little caffeine.

🎥 Cinema-inspired groups will use movies and storytelling themes to spark conversations around resilience, identity, healing, and growth. Therapy, but make it cinematic. Lights. Camera. Action!

🎌 Anime groups are coming too! Whether you connect with themes of perseverance, friendship, transformation, or battling your inner storms (literal or metaphorical), these groups are designed to create connection through shared interests and meaningful discussion. Main character energy encouraged!

🎭 Inspired by Inside Out, our Inside Out groups will help participants explore emotions, self-awareness, and emotional regulation in fun and meaningful ways. Joy, Anxiety, Anger, and Sadness are all invited, bring the whole gang!

💕 And for couples looking to reconnect, communicate better, and deepen emotional understanding, our couples groups will focus on strengthening relationships, increasing compassion, broadening insight, and understanding yourselves and your partners on a deeper level.
