We are thrilled to celebrate our newest Leading with Heart recipient: Markeata Clemes, CNA! 🎉 Markeata’s dedication and compassion shine every day at Crestview Center. As Alex so beautifully shared:
Every time I visit Crestview’s North Wing, I see Markeata actively attending to residents with a calm,
collected, and caring presence. Even while managing multiple responsibilities, she gives residents
thoughtful attention. They seek her assistance and engage her in conversation: a reflection of the
trust and relationships she has built through her care.
During our conversation on October 17 at approximately 2 p.m., Markeata spoke with heartfelt
enthusiasm about her nearly 31 years with Genesis. What resonated most was her repeated
emphasis on her investment in her residents. She described those relationships as the driving force
behind her continued commitment to coming to work each day.
Markeata demonstrates Heart of Gold through her compassion and the personal connections she
nurtures, and Never Miss a Beat through the consistent, attentive care I observe during my visits. Her
servant leadership is evident in everyday interactions that help residents feel heard, supported, and
valued.
Markeata, thank you for your dedicated service, your resilience, and the heart you continue to bring to
Crestview. Your commitment makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents who count on
you.
