Always a joy to see how residents at The Willows of Living Branches make a difference in the local community!

💙 Each year, Willows residents challenge themselves to raise $1,000 for a local organization through weekly worship offerings. And this year they exceeded it!

We were honored to welcome Sheldon Good, development director at Manna on Main Street, to our July town hall to receive the donation and share a few words about their work.

The Serenata Memory Care team has a lot of advice for visiting a loved one living with dementia!

💜 Throughout Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, our team members are wearing their Serenata Memory Care T-shirts on Fridays to stand alongside seniors and families impacted by Alzheimer's disease. It's a small gesture toward recognizing the importance of compassionate memory care.

🍓🫐 June's Strawberry Blueberry Festival was a sweet success! Residents enjoyed a full week of red-and-blue themed games, sing-alongs, drinks, music, and more.

Highlights included a petting zoo, co****le, and waffles and ice cream from a local food truck.

Thanks to all the team members and volunteers at The Willows of Living Branches, Souderton Mennonite Homes, and Dock Woods who made this all-community event happen!

🐦 Last week's Living U "Birding by Boat" field trip to Green Lane Reservoir couldn't have had better weather! In this course students followed a birding guide into the woods to look and listen for birds and enjoyed time out on the water to watch birds from a whole new vantage point.

For one resident, it was her very first time kayaking — and she did it!

Research has validated what many of us know: life in a retirement community is great for your health and wellbeing!

Researchers tracked more than 8,000 residents of Life Plan Communities like Living Branches. Compared to their peers who live outside a community, residents reported:

💪 Better physical health
🧠 Sharper memory
🗪 Stronger social connections
😌 Greater emotional wellbeing
