🎃👻 One of our favorite Halloween traditions! Yesterday, our neighbors at Primrose School of Lee's Summit stopped by for some trick-or-treating fun! Our residents always love seeing all the adorable and creative costumes, and we look forward to this special visit every year. Thank you, Primrose, for making Halloween a little more fun and bringing so many smiles to our community! 🧡🍬

Who says you’re too old for a little fun?! One of our residents, Katie, took on the obstacle course and finished head first down the slide at our Fall Fun Fest! We think she might have been having just as much fun as the kids! ❤️

🐾 Why do pets have a place at Silverado? Because this is home. ❤️
At Silverado, we believe that life with dementia should still be filled with the everyday moments that make life special. And what feels more like home than a dog stopping by for some love, a cat snuggling up beside you, or a cat that does yoga with you?! 😻 Kensie, Silvy, Ally Cat & Dr. Pepper bring more than companionship. They offer comfort, create meaningful connections, provide a sense of purpose, and bring joy in many ways. (Not pictured that also bring us smiles - Jeb & Trinket)

Happy National Boss’s Day to our Administrator, Jordan! 💙

Thank you, Jordan, for everything you do to make Silverado such a special place to live and work! Your leadership, passion for you do and dedication never go unnoticed. 🫶

And of course, we can’t forget our favorite little sidekick, Lane! 👶💙 Having him join us at work a few days a week brings so many extra smiles and sweet moments to our community. We love getting to watch him grow while Mom does what she does best!

On Friday, our Culinary Club made homemade pizza for national pizza day🍕
Right after that, our Travel Club had a German B**r Taste Testing🍻 This engagement might be one that will be added to the calendar more often with how much our residents loved it!

Huge shout out to Ascend Health for hosting their “Clean Wheels & Sweet Treats” event at our community. The Ascend team scrubbed all of our wheelchairs, clean and brought a snow cone truck for our staff and residence to enjoy. And when it comes to our residents and sq**rt guns, things are going to get crazy!🤪🫧🦽🍧

Last week we celebrated EVS week! Our housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams play a major role in the success of Silverado Lee’s Summit and we are so thankful for all they do for our community every day!

Marcia has worked at Silverado for 1 year and 5 months. She enjoys working at Silverado LS because of the residents and staff that feel like family. Her hobbies outside of work are watching crime stories and spending time with her family.

Debbie has worked at Silverado since December of 2025. She likes working at Silverado LS because she enjoys the satisfaction of knowing that she is helping make someone else's life easier. Outside of work she likes to read and travel.

Marissa has worked at Silverado for 1 year. She enjoys interacting with the residents and pets. Outside of work she enjoys creating digital art, painting and reading.
