August is Psoriasis Awareness/Action Month, a great time to recognize that psoriasis can be much more than what we see on the skin.
For access professionals, understanding the broader impact of psoriasis helps put the treatment journey into perspective.
Two patients can have similar amounts of affected skin but experience very different levels of discomfort and impact on daily life. Location, symptoms, and quality-of-life impact can all matter when assessing the burden of psoriasis.
A patient's experience is an important part of the picture.
