Roaring Brook Recovery We meet you where you are in your recovery. We get to know you and your story to build an evidence-based recovery program, rooted in the 12-step program

Recovery is not a destination. It is a way of living. Our evidence-based treatments provide a toolbox for your recovery. With these tools, we build a plan specifically for you. Although recovery is as unique as a fingerprint, it is a shared experience. Our center is a warm, welcoming space designed for fellowship. We believe that connection is the opposite of addiction. And together, we can get where we want to go.

🎃👻 Happy Halloween from all of us at Roaring Brook Recovery! 👻🎃

Who says recovery can't be fun?! After all, “We are not a glum lot!” 🎉

Recovery is about more than just staying sober — it's about learning to enjoy life, making memories, sharing laughter, and discovering that we can have an incredible time without the tricks (or treats!) of our old ways!

So put on that costume, enjoy some candy, share a few laughs, and celebrate the day!

Just one friendly reminder… Be careful not to let your inner Dr. Jekyll turn into Mr. Hyde! 😈😂

Stay safe, stay sober, and remember — the real treat is the life we get to live in recovery!

🎃 Happy Halloween from your Roaring Brook family!

🎉 10 YEARS OF CONTINUOUS SOBRIETY!! 🎉

Please join everyone at Roaring Brook Recovery in congratulating Carl Quick on an incredible milestone — 10 years of continuous sobriety!

Over the years, Carl has become an incredible therapist and an important part of the Roaring Brook family. But as proud as we are of the professional he has become, we are even more proud of the person he has become.

Carl embraces his roles as a father, son, friend, and man in recovery with enthusiasm, passion, and a genuine desire to be there for others. He brings his own experience into his work every day and reminds us what long-term recovery can look like when we continue to show up, grow, and give back.

10 years. One day at a time. ❤️

Congratulations, Carl! We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Roaring Brook family.

Help us celebrate Carl and congratulate him on 10 YEARS! 🎉👏

What a great day celebrating RECOVERY! 💜

A huge thank you to Shepherds House Inc. for hosting such an incredible Recovery Rally! It was great seeing so many old friends, reconnecting with familiar faces, and making a whole lot of new friends along the way.

Days like this are a powerful reminder that recovery is better with connection, not isolation. There is something special about bringing people together who understand the journey, support one another, and celebrate the hope that recovery brings.

From all of us at Roaring Brook Recovery — thank you, Shepherds House Inc., for bringing our recovery community together! ❤️

We Remember.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders and countless others who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Days of remembrance can bring up many emotions—grief, sadness, anxiety, or memories of our own personal losses and struggles. It is a reminder that taking care of our mental health matters, and that none of us has to carry difficult things alone.

At Roaring Brook Recovery, we believe there is strength in reaching out, supporting one another, and simply asking, “Are you okay?”

Today, we remember. We honor. And we take care of one another.

Never Forget.

💜 Recovery Month is about more than celebrating recovery—it’s about putting recovery into action.

Today, our Outreach Coordinator, Amber, had the opportunity to spend the day with Kentucky Reentry Support LLC, helping fill bags with essential items for those in our community who are less fortunate.

At Roaring Brook Recovery, we believe one of the greatest gifts of recovery is the opportunity to give back, serve others, and become part of something bigger than ourselves.

During National Recovery Month, we celebrate not only the lives being changed through recovery, but also the incredible impact people in recovery and those who support them can have on the lives of others.

Recovery builds stronger people. Service builds stronger communities. 💜

Every empty chair represents a life lost to overdose: a person who was loved, a family forever changed, and a future that will never be lived.

This International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember those we’ve lost and remind those who are struggling that help is available.

Our team at Roaring Brook can help. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use, you don’t have to face it alone. Recovery is possible, and it starts with reaching out.

Let’s work toward a day when there are no more empty chairs.
