HEALTH COACH TIP 🧡✨
For years, dietary fat got a bad reputation, but healthy fats are an important part of a balanced diet.
Foods like avocado, olive oil, nuts, and seeds provide predominantly unsaturated fats and can play an important role in supporting brain function, hormone health, nutrient absorption, and satiety.
Fat also helps your body absorb the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K and can help meals feel more satisfying, which is one reason including a source of healthy fat can be an important part of building a balanced plate.
The goal isn’t to avoid fat, it’s to be intentional about the sources you choose. Try adding avocado to your breakfast, dressing vegetables with olive oil, or pairing fruit with a small handful of nuts or seeds. 🥑
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Small, nourishing choices can add up over time. 🤍✨
