Babies have their own little language — and hunger is one of the first ways they “talk” to us. 🤍

Look for those sweet early cues:
• Lip smacking
• Rooting
• Gentle stirring

But here’s something most people don’t realize… ✨
The very earliest cue can happen before all of that — those tiny eye movements behind your baby’s eyelids during REM sleep. Even while they seem asleep, their body may already be getting ready to feed.

When those little tummies start rumbling, it’s time to respond with nourishment and comfort.

Catching those earliest cues (even in sleep!) and gently picking your baby up to feed often leads to calmer, more effective feeding sessions.

Earlier cues = easier feeds + a more settled baby.

Your baby is communicating… even in their dreams. 💤
