Jose Antonio “Sixto” Morales Aguirre, age 70, was born on January 17, 1956 in Aguascalientes, Mexico and passed away on August 20, 2026 in Lexington, TN. He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Perez; 1 daughter, Geovana Morales Perez; 1 son, Jose Antonio Morales Perez; 2 sisters, Guadolpe Ramirez Aguirre and Bety Ramirez Aguirre; and 3 grandchildren, Oksana Cuevas, Liam Morales, and Mila Morales. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sixto Morales and Jova Aguirre; and 1 brother, Kiko Sanchez Aguirre. The family will have a visitation at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Lexington, TN on Saturday, September 5 from 10AM-11AM with Mass to follow at 11AM. There will be a fellowship gathering following the Mass at St. Andrews.

Margaret Catherine "Kitty" (Wheeler) Lodholm, age 76, of Lexington,
Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 31, 1950, in Henderson County, Tennessee, to Franklin
Eugene "Gene" Wheeler and Martha Wheeler. Kitty was preceded in death by
her mother and father; her beloved grandparents Arthur Bryant Stanford and
Laler Stanford; and her brothers-in-law Bruce Lodholm of Elk City, Oklahoma,
and Roy Lodholm of Amarillo, Texas. She is survived by husband Larry
Lodholm; her daughters, Amanda Lodholm Henry of Jacksonville, Florida, and
Andrea Lodholm Abbott (Daniel) of Camden, Tennessee; her treasured
grandsons, Thane Terry and Alexander Abbott; her brothers, Tom Wheeler
(Peggy) of Tomball, Texas, and Jon Wheeler (Lisa) of Beaver Creek, Ohio; her
sister-in-law Gayla Lodholm of Amarillo, Texas, as well as several nieces and
nephews. Kitty and Larry married in August 1972 in New Mexico, and they
celebrated 54 years together this year. Kitty was a cosmetologist for nearly 50
years before retiring and worked as a florist and Walmart employee at various
times. However, her favorite jobs were being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was a member of the Independence Church of Christ in Lexington,
Tennessee, at the time of her passing. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 19 from
3PM until 8PM and Thursday August 20 from 10AM until service. Services will be

Gary Lynn Pendergrass, age 78, was born March 22,1948 and passed away Sunday, August 9,2026 in Jackson. He was the retired owner of M&M Sheet Metal and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He is survived by 3 daughters; Dena (Rusty) Reed, Kelley (Blake) White, and Jennifer (Colby) Moore, 10 grandchildren; Garren (Presley) Mills, Taylor Reed, Mary Grace (Elizha) Sanders, Porter Reed, Alex White, Braden White, Elley Dru White, Braden (Molly) Moore, Maggie Melton, and Presten Moore, and 2 great-grandchildren; Braxten Moore and Capri Sanders. He was preceded in death by his wife; Norma Pendergrass, his parents; Newton Howell and Sammie Lucille Holland Pendergrass, a brother; Joe Pendergrass, and a granddaughter; Emma Claire White. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 12 at 2PM at Reed’s Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkers Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2PM-9PM and Wednesday 10AM until service. Deborah Rees, born October 3, 1952 in Meridian, MS, passed away peacefully in her Jackson, TN home on August 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Spicer and Donald Weeks, husband Dennis Rees, son Brent Rees, and daughter Angella Nash. She is survived by her sons Eric (Mary Jo) Weeks and Aaron Rees, sister Brenda McIlroy, one nephew, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Deborah enjoyed creating stained glass artwork, baking, cooking, and hosting family parties. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 11 at 2PM at Reed’s Chapel with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery.

Janie Adams Hutchison passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 at her home in Memphis, TN. Janie was born October 22, 1950 to Joseph Freed Adams and Leva Roberts Adams in Henderson County, TN. She graduated from Lexington High School, Lexington, TN and Draughon’s Business College, Memphis. TN. Until retirement, Janie spent many years as personal assistant to executives who valued and depended upon her practical business skills. Beautiful, bright, charming, warm, and compassionate, she made everyone feel special and loved. Her larger-than-life personality and wonderfully irreverent sense of humor – the cause of a thousand belly laughs – were a blessing to her friends and family. She had a genuine gift for making people feel welcomed and that they belonged. She was the kind of person who would give you her last nickel if you needed it. She had the quickest wit, the very best sayings, and a heart bigger than anyone knew. Janie loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours fishing on lakes, ponds, and seas. She was also a voracious lover of books. Above all, she adored her daughter, her two grandchildren, and they absolutely adored her. Janie is predeceased by her parents, her six older brothers, Aaron, Bill, Tony, Jerry, Newt, and Rob, and two older sisters, Betty Jo Adams, and Martha Adams Sellers. She is survived by her father; J.W. Aldridge, a sister; Johnnie Faye Aldridge, a brother; Mark David (Mandi) Aldridge, and a nephew; Pitch Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her mother; Martha Fay Mathis Aldridge. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 26 at 2PM at Corinth Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
