Mark Wright passed away on June 19th, 2026 in Lexington, TN at the age of 58. He was preceded by his parents Ruby White and Ewing Wright and his brother Brad McPeak. He is survived by his stepmother Janis Wright Boyd and his stepfather Roy Boyd, his brothers Jeff (Janet) Wright, Eric Wright, Scott Russell, and Bart McPeak, his sisters Stacy (Robert) Fortner and Sandy Stanfill, his daughter Jessi Wright-Hart, his granddaughter Peyton Wright, and his grandson Casen Scott.

His visitation will be held Sunday June 28th, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Mt. Lebanon Church (1255 Mt Lebanon Rd. Decaturville, TN 38329) followed by his graveside service at 2pm.

Danielle Tedder Arnett passed away on June 17th, 2026 in Lexington, TN at the age of 86. She was preceded by her parents James D. and Addie B. Tedder, her husband Marland Carroll Arnett, her brothers Tom Tedder and John Tedder, and her sister Dineen Hamm. She is survived by her sister Debra Lynn Henson, her children Richard Arnett (Dee) and Lisa Arnett Aeschliman (Walt), her grandchildren Brandon Arnett (Leslie), Courtney Lane (David), and Taylor Brooke Aeschliman, her great grandchildren Peyton Lane, Jase Arnett, Bella Lane, and Mason Lane, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Danielle “Nell” was born August 26th, 1939 in Pampa, Texas. She grew up in Weatherford, Oklahoma and was a 1957 graduate of Weatherford High School. She married Marland Arnett in 1957 with whom she had two children and was married for 66 years. The family moved to Lexington, TN in 1966. Nell worked in Lexington for Arnett Equipment Sales, Sullivan & Harris Insurance Agency, Odle Chevrolet, and then First Bank for 20 years until her retirement.

She enjoyed singing in the church choir and participating in the annual Relay for Life events. She never met a stranger! She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed her family, coworkers, and friends.

There will be a graveside memorial service at a later date in Oklahoma.

Ann Brittain passed away on Thursday June 18th, 2026 in Linden, TN at the age of 79. She was preceded by her parents Fate & Dora ‘Tyner’ Hickerson, her husband of 36 years Robert Gale Brittain, and her sisters Myra Lois Joslin and Linda Hickerson Reeves. She is survived by her children Jesse & Tracey Crowe, Jeff Brittain, and Jeff Davis, and her grandchildren Paulina Crowe, Jeslyn Crowe, Kalen Brittain, Aubreigh Brittain, and Gabriella Davis.

Ann lived a life full of love, kindness, and joy. She spent many years caring for others as a CNA and later retired from her career as a postal worker. Ann loved fishing, good food, good music, singing, and dancing. She had a special love for all animals, especially her beloved dogs Tuby & Baby. She was a longtime member of New Beginnings Tabernacle and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Arden Hospice and Mrs. Brittan’s caregivers Jessica Mayberry, Patty Dickson, Katelyn Carroll, and Rhonda Watson for their loving care and support.

Her graveside service will be held at Palestine Cemetery in Lexington, TN on Monday June 22nd, 2026 at 2pm.

Nora Eleanor "MeMe" Mullikin
October 15th, 1941 – June 5th, 2026

Nora Eleanor "MeMe" Mullikin, age 84, of Lexington, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by love. Born on October 15, 1941, in Bemis, Tennessee, Nora lived a life devoted to her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most and treasured every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Known affectionately as "MeMe," she had a special way of making everyone feel loved, welcomed, and important. Her family was the center of her world, and she adored her grandbabies beyond measure.

Nora also enjoyed shopping, especially her favorite trips to Walmart, where she could often be found browsing the aisles and visiting with friends and neighbors. Her warm smile, caring heart, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Vance Gowan; her mother, Julia Ann Gowan; her sisters, Lydia Perry, Ellen Russell, Birdise Stewart, Norma Frances, and Quindline Gowan; and her brother, Earl Rufus Gowan.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Mullikin Hurley and husband Chad, and Rena Mullikin Ferrell and husband Lloyd; her sons, Leon Mullikin and wife Trisha, and Ron Mullikin; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate hospice staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Huntingdon, especially Sadie, whose care, kindness, and support brought comfort to Nora and her family during her final days.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Details will be shared on social media, and the family hopes all who knew and loved Nora will join them in honoring and celebrating her life.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Nora's love, laughter, and legacy live on through the family she cherished so deeply. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Brown, his sisters Nancy Gordon and Kathy Brown, his son Heath Callahan, his grandchildren Bentley Callahan and Fidley Callahan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies and his son. He will be deeply missed.

She was preceded by her parents Leola Baker & Elvis Ray, her brothers Lloyd Ray, Harold Ray, and David Ray, her sisters Dorothy King and Gwen Cunningham, her niece Kenya Hicks, and her nephew Justin Tolley. He was preceded by his parents Olice Felix Burdette and Ruby Burdette, his brothers Timothy Burdette and Jimmy Burdette, his sisters Christine Rankin, Rosetta Lyle, and Judy Long, his children Angela Lynn Vaughn, and Tonia Rennae White, and his son in law Randy Pittman. He is survived by his wife Ann Burdette, his brothers Danny Burdette (Jean) and Ricky Burdette (Vicki), his sister Jo Abbott, his children Marcia Guinn Huckabee (Paul) and Gayla Ann Pittman, his grandchildren Christy Sorrell (Wade), Michael Huckabee, Ricky White, Jennifer Springer (James), Chelcee Allen, James R. Pittman (Megan), and Benjamin C. Pittman (Amanda), as well as his great grandchildren Bailey, Aubrey, Cody, River, Brett, Aiden, Iela, Hazel, Lucy, Julian, and Oliver.

He was the heart of our family – loving, strong, and always putting others before himself. His kindness, warmth and unconditional love touched everyone who knew him. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort is knowing he is now at peace in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. We are forever grateful for the memories, laughter, generosity and love he gave so freely, and we hold onto the faith that we will see him again one day. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in his loving family.
