What a GREAT week celebrating and showing appreciation for our Dialysis Technicians,the heartbeat of our clinic! ❤️🩺

This week was all about recognizing the hard work, dedication, compassion, and commitment these amazing individuals bring to our patients and our team each and every day.

From the treats and laughter to the games and friendly competition, we had a wonderful time celebrating our crew💙💚

What would you tell someone who is starting dialysis and feels like their life is over?

Ms. Mary wants new dialysis patients to know one important thing: your life is NOT over.

Yes, dialysis will require some lifestyle changes. You may have to pay closer attention to your fluids, your diet, your medications, and how you plan your days around treatment. But that doesn’t mean you stop living.

You can still travel. You can still spend time with family and friends. You can still celebrate, laugh, go places, enjoy your hobbies, and participate in many of the activities you enjoyed before dialysis.

It may take a little more planning and a few adjustments, but dialysis is a part of your life, it doesn’t have to become your whole life.

🪑💙 BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! 💙🪑

Straight from the Chair with Ms. Mary is BACK for another 6 weeks!

This week, Ms. Mary reminds us of something that people don’t always understand about life on dialysis:

Dialysis days are REST days.

Ms. Mary starts her day, gets herself ready, and then makes sure she has time to rest and recharge before treatment. Dialysis takes time and energy, and sometimes what a patient needs most is simply the space to slow down and prepare their body for treatment.

Her message this week: Give dialysis patients grace when they need to rest. Rest isn’t “doing nothing”, it’s part of taking care of yourself. 💙
