Storm update: Kauaʻi Urgent Care has resumed normal business hours and is seeing patients at 4484 Paheʻe St. in Līhuʻe.

When you need medical attention right away for a nonemergency illness or injury and your primary care provider isn’t available, our physicians and staff can help. They treat conditions including colds, flu, UTIs, minor aches and pains, cuts, scrapes, bruises, and minor broken bones.

Services also include X-rays, EKGs, fracture splinting, ear wax removal, and treatment for minor eye care issues.

Kauaʻi Medical Clinic – Kōloa will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 10, and resume normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

⚠️ Kauaʻi Urgent Care Temporarily Closed ⚠️

Due to ongoing impacts from Hurricane Lowell, Kauaʻi Urgent Care is closed Wednesday, Sept. 9, due to the ongoing power outage.

Patients can be seen at the Wilcox Medical Center Emergency Department at 3-3420 Kūhiō Highway in Līhuʻe.

The Wilcox Emergency Department has increased staffing with the providers you know and trust from Kauaʻi Urgent Care to expedite care as much as possible.

The Wilcox Emergency Department remains open 24/7.

HURRICANE LOWELL UPDATE – Tuesday, Sept. 8

While Hurricane Lowell has passed west of the Hawaiian Islands, recovery efforts are ongoing, and some communities continue to experience power outages, flooding, and road closures.

Wilcox Medical Center remains open and is providing care for patients. Please note the following updates for today:

• All elective procedures at Wilcox Medical Center have been canceled.

• Wilcox Medical Center’s Outpatient Imaging, Rehab Services, and Cardiac Services are closed.

• Kauaʻi Medical Clinic locations in Līhuʻe, ʻEleʻele, Kapaʻa, and Kōloa are closed due to power outages.

• Kauaʻi Urgent Care is closed due to power outages.

Urgent and emergency care is available at the Wilcox Emergency Department.

Wilcox Health is closely monitoring Hurricane Lowell. The following Kauaʻi service updates are in effect:

⚠️ All Kauaʻi Medical Clinics in ʻEleʻele, Kapaʻa, Kōloa and Līhuʻe are closed today, Monday, Sept. 7. Pending weather and operating conditions, the clinics are scheduled to reopen at noon Tuesday, Sept. 8.

⚠️ Kauaʻi Urgent Care closed at 10 a.m. today. Pending weather and operating conditions, the clinic is scheduled to reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.

⚠️ Wilcox Medical Center Outpatient Imaging, Rehab Services and Cardiac Services are closed today. Pending weather and operating conditions, these services are tentatively scheduled to reopen at noon Tuesday, Sept. 8, and resume scheduled patient appointments.

Urgent and emergency care is available at the Wilcox Emergency Department.

⚠️ EVENT CANCELLATION: The car seat safety checks scheduled for tomorrow at Wilcox have been canceled due to inclement weather.

Free Car Seat Safety Checks at Wilcox Medical Center 🚗👶🏽

Wilcox Medical Center is partnering with the Kauaʻi Police Department, Kauaʻi Planning & Action Alliance, and the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation to host a free car seat safety check event.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will be available to inspect car seats at no cost and provide hands-on guidance to help keep your keiki safe.
