What are your hallways teaching?
It sounds like a strange question at first.
After all, teaching happens in classrooms...right?
But students spend hundreds of hours each year moving through hallways, transitioning between classes, walking to lunch, heading to specials, and returning to their classrooms.
What if those spaces could do more?
What if hallways reinforced:
⭐ Character
⭐ Self-regulation
⭐ Executive functioning
⭐ Faith formation
⭐ Positive school culture
As a school-based OT, it's a question I've been thinking about a lot lately.
