You love riding, but now every ride comes with a calculation.

How far can I go before my back starts talking to me?

Maybe you’ve tried chiropractic care, PT, stretching, or even a brace.

I’m glad you are tried.

But if the pain keeps coming back, has anyone figured out what’s actually causing it?

Pain is where you feel it.
The problem usually isn’t.

That’s why we look at how you move, what your body is compensating for, and why your back is doing more work than it should.

If that sounds like something you’re interested in, DM us “I want my bike back”.

You've probably already tried chiropractic.

Got adjusted.

Felt better.

Went back a few times.

Then life got busy or it felt good enough and you stopped going.

Then three weeks later, it came back.

So you went again.

Same result.

Better for a while.

Then back to where you started.

That's not a chiropractic problem. That's a root cause problem.

Most chiropractors treat where it hurts.

That's what they're trained to do.

You come in with back pain, and they work on your back.

You leave feeling better.

But feeling better and being fixed are not the same thing.

If the pattern that caused the problem is still there, the problem comes back.

Every time.

Because nothing that actually drove it was ever addressed.

At Advance, the question is never just where it hurts.

It's why this starts. What broke down upstream.

What is your body compensating for, and how long has it been doing that.

When you find that, the fix actually holds. You're not managing symptoms on a loop.

You're removing the reason they keep showing up.

That's the difference between treatment that buys you a few months and care that actually changes things.

Pain-free is not the goal. Performance is.

“Here’s how knee pain slowly starts controlling your entire life…”

Our patients tell us the hardest part isn’t even the pain itself.

It’s the constant mental math.

Can I make it through this airport?
How far is the walk to dinner?
Will everyone have to slow down because of me again?

You start planning every vacation around your knee.

Not around memories.
Not around experiences.
Around pain.
And after a while…
You stop trusting your body.

You wake up every morning calculating what you can and can’t do that day.
The pain doesn’t just live in your knee anymore.

It lives in your head.

A lot of people try to just push through it.

They tell themselves:

“It’s probably normal.”
“I’ll deal with it later.”
“I just need to toughen up.”

But our patients tell us that strategy eventually catches up to them.

At Advance Chiropractic and Performance, we look deeper than just the painful knee.

Because many times the real issue has been building underneath the surface for years…

…and this is what we call the root cause.

Follow Advance Chiropractic and Performance if you want to stop guessing why your body keeps holding you back and finally start understanding what’s actually going on.

Tired of feeling rushed through appointments like you've never really been heard?…

Our patients tell us the most frustrating part isn’t even the pain anymore.
It’s feeling like nobody actually listened long enough to understand what’s going on.

They spent years being talked at.

Rushed in and out.

Watching providers stare at a screen while trying to explain why their body keeps failing them.

And after enough of those experiences…

You start wondering if this is just something you have to live with.

That’s why care at Advance Chiropractic and Performance looks different.

Sometimes the most important part of helping someone has nothing to do with the table.

Or the exercise.
Or the adjustment.
It’s the conversation.
The long walks.

The questions nobody else slowed down enough to ask.

The moments where someone finally feels understood instead of managed.
Because most people aren’t broken.

They’ve just never had someone willing to listen long enough to find the real problem.

…and this is what we call the root cause.

Follow Advance Chiropractic and Performance for more content that helps you understand your body instead of feeling ignored by it.

Deadlifting > clamshells

The same ole, same ole doesn’t move the needle for active people.

Helping tactical athletes is different.

You can’t just throw generic exercises at people carrying gear, moving under stress, shooting, sprinting, and living in awkward positions for hours at a time.

I’ll be working with the 19th Security Forces during Shoot, Move, Communicate to study the actual demands their bodies are exposed to in real time.

Then we build from there.

Customized anatomy education.
Movement strategies specific to their job.
Strength training that supports the positions they live in instead of wrecking them over time.

Most people train muscles.
We’re training humans for the environments they actually operate in.

That’s the real problem most programs miss.

If you lead a military, law enforcement, or tactical team and want a program built around the actual demands of your people instead of generic fitness templates, send me a message.

You keep stretching your low back because that’s where you feel it.

Maybe you foam roll it. Maybe you get it cracked. Maybe it calms down for a day or two. Awesome. I’m glad you’re trying something.

Then the next hard round, scramble, or armbar… it tightens up again.

That’s because something is missing.

If your hips stop rotating well or stop creating force well, your low back usually starts doing extra work. Especially in jiu jitsu.

Pain is where you feel it. That doesn’t always mean that’s where the problem starts.

Most people are treating the symptoms instead of the root cause. Even if they are addressing the right area most of the time it’s not to the intensity you need for BJJ.

Has anyone ever taken the time to find out what you need specifically?

Follow us for more BJJ specific info!

Most golfers working on consistency are focused on swing mechanics.

Grip
Stance
Tempo

Those things matter.

But if your hips are restricted, your body is going to compensate every single time you swing.

That compensation looks different rep after rep.

That is where inconsistency actually comes from.

We are not pain management.

We work with active people who still want to perform.

That means looking at how you move, finding what is restricted, and building a plan that carries over to what you actually do.

If your swing has felt off and nobody has looked at how your hips move, that is where we would start.

Consistency off the tee is not always a swing problem.

Most golfers chase it through lessons.

They adjust their grip.

They slow down their tempo.

They film their swing from every angle.

And it helps.

For a round or two.

Then it comes back.

Here is what most people are missing.

If your hips are restricted, your body compensates on every single rep.

That compensation looks different every time. Different hip turn. Different shoulder angle.

Different contact point.

You cannot fix that with mechanics alone.

You have to fix what is restricted first.

We work with active people who still want to perform.

That means looking at how you move, finding what is stuck, and building a plan that carries over to what you actually do on the course.

If your swing has felt off and nobody has looked at how your hips move, that is where we would start.
