People Over Profits.
When we say “people over profits,” we’re not saying that a company shouldn’t make money. A healthy business must be profitable to survive, grow, create opportunities, and continue serving others.
We’re talking about how that profit is created.
It means taking care of your employees and clients without constantly trying to squeeze more out of them just to sustain an excessive lifestyle or an unhealthy business environment.
Too many businesses unintentionally build success on the backs of the very people who became their foundation. Then, when times get really good—or really difficult—those foundational people and principles are often the first things neglected.
People over profits doesn’t mean pouring from an empty cup. You cannot take care of others if the business itself is unhealthy.
It means understanding that when you consistently pour back into your people, your clients, your culture, and your community, you create something stronger than short-term profit.
Take care of the foundation, and abundance has somewhere solid to grow.
