Fotona laser is the most advanced laser treatment for facial rejuvenation. At Pristine Wellness Center in San Ramon, California, Dr. Izadi is the the one performing the procedures and customize each treatment based on the patient’s needs.
The most popular procedure is Fotona 7D facelift ( signature treatment by Dr. Izadi) which includes the Fotona 4 D facelift and additional steps including smootheye for eyelid rejuvenation, liplase for lip rejuvenation, vector lift for eyebrow lifting, and treatment of the submental area ( the area under the chin and jaw line). The number of sessions depend on the patient’s age and the previous treatments done on the face. Many patients had surgical facelift in the past and want to keep the rejuvenated look. Some patients who are good candidates for surgical facelift but not ready for it, choose to have Fotona facelift. In general , for every decade of life, one session needed. For example a 50 year old needs on average 5 sessions at least one month apart. We don’t offer laser resurfacing in summer due to the sun damage.
All patients need to prepare the skin for laser by applying a special compounded cream formulated by Dr. Izadi for at lease one month prior to the first session and continue this topical until one month after the last treatment. The compounding pharmacy prepares the cream and it contains Tranexamic acid, niacinamide and azelaic acid. The results of the laser treatment are comparable with surgical facelift without needle or cut. The results are different in different patients and not everyone has the same results.
The pricing for all procedures are on the website for transparency. There is also an option with no downtime for an extra fee since it takes longer and more load on the laser machine. There is financing option through Cherry for purchases over $4000.

Thinking about a thread lift? Here are a few rare—but possible—side effects that patients should know about.

While most thread lifts are performed safely, every procedure has potential risks.

Rare but possible complications include:
• Migration of the thread from its original position.
• A thread becoming visible or poking through the skin.
• If a thread is placed close to a nerve, it may cause sudden, sharp pain that can occur intermittently for up to two weeks.

It’s also important to know that the results are temporary:
• PDO threads typically dissolve in about 1 year.
• PLLA/PCL threads may last approximately 2–3 years, depending on the specific product and the individual.
