CORE Kidney Program

CORE Kidney Program CORE Kidney is a patient advocacy and support program based on our founding principles of Clinical Excellence, Outreach, Research and Education.

Dr Rastogi's Office at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine aims tp improve healthcare delivery by implementing our CORE values of Clinical excellence, Outreach, Research, and Education with a focus on integrative medicine. Our focus is on integrative medicine, with emphasis on prevention and education, so patients can become their own best advocates. We aim to spread awareness on kidney disease,

and provide resources for all: patients, doctors, and the general public. We hold free educational events open to the public that give valuable information about manageable changes patients can make in their daily life to improve their well-being, and prevent future health problems. Our office also conducts clinical research trials, where patients of kidney disease can enroll in. In honor of Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who make a lasting impact on the lives of those around them. CORE Kidney is proud to highlight Brian Gilliam and his father, Dana Gilliam, whose kidney transplant journey reflects the power of family, generosity, and hope. We honor their story, along with all fathers who support, inspire, and care for their loved ones every day.

This event provided patients and families with the opportunity to connect with leading medical experts, learn about the latest advances in care and research, and engage in meaningful discussions about living with FSGS. We are grateful to have created this space for the FSGS community in collaboration with UCLA Health and would like to thank everyone who joined us for an inspiring day of education and support.
