So proud of my son Ethan who is starting medical school ! My grandfather was accepted to medical school in the Ukraine but couldn't go because of the Russian revolution where he was supposed to be on the front lines but had to escape Russia! He always told me to be a Dr and I did of sorts : Dr of Chinese medicine but here's to my son who always wants to help people ! My grandpa would be elated and so am I !

It's amazing at 100 1/2 years old with some dementia in the last few years .. my dad still remembers how to play the harmonica ! It reminds me to keep playing , dancing and singing . It's never too late to have music in your life !

Attended the 2026 Pacific Coast Reproductive Society in Ranch Mirage! In a world of reproductive medicine went to lectures , spoke to vendors and amazing Doctors ! Got to meet the amazing endometriosis specialist Dr Chandra Spring-Robinson who I have referred to. Love to keep learning ! And even bought myself a red light device for the face to use with my patients !

Libido is complicated for women . The new drug Vyleesi , while helpful for some women ( not to used in menopause ) , had up to 76% of users report side effects like nausea and headaches with modest help! I am not saying that certain women shouldn't take it but we have to look at what is going on with the individual . Libido is not a one size fits all fix! There is so much that goes into libido : stress , hormones , relationship dynamics , sleep and vitality ! That's why I like the principles of Chinese medicine: we look at the whole person: body , mind , spirit *xualhealth health 's health

it's all over social media : declining estrogen levels can cause shoulder, hip , elbow and Achilles pain but this is a reductionist's way of looking at injuries. For some it might be true ! Chinese medicine has known this for years and focuses on circulation, nourishment of blood and support for connective tissue. There are special herbs to help support women too ! I know because I have been dealing with a shoulder injury and thought .. I should just slather estrogen cream on my shoulder - ha! Then I realized how much I have been overdoing it: swimming , yoga, Pilates all involving a lot of upper body movement and maybe not resting as much as I should. Tendons need nourishment too !

My shoulder has been bothering me . It's tendinitis ! Yesterday I reached for one of my favorite tools in Chinese medicine : cupping ! Cupping increases circulation : studies show there is an increase in micro circulation which helps deliver more oxygen and nutrients to tissue . It's also helpful to help reduce facial adhesions ( think tight muscles and fascia stuck) and although it looks pretty bad, the bruising will go away in 3-7 days . I also excited because I purchased a new vibrating cup to do moving cupping . Have you tried cupping ? therapy

Fertility can carry quiet shame - it's almost never named . Women feel bad if they have terminated a pregnancy before , waited to long , compared themselves to others , and somehow think it's their fault if it didn't work.
