Training, collaboration, and continuous learning are essential to providing exceptional care in high-risk environments
Our Tactical EMS (TEMS) team recently participated in a training session at the ALCO SO Training Center, where they had the opportunity to learn from Stanford Med Flight through an informative lecture and hands-on helicopter demonstration.
It was also great to train alongside SWAT operators and partners from CHP and the FBI, strengthening relationships and sharing knowledge across agencies.

A special congratulations to Maria and Travis on earning their TEMS Wings—a significant achievement that reflects their dedication, training, and commitment to serving the community.

May was a month full of connection, community, and celebration in Alameda County 💙🚑

From EMS Week festivities and recognizing our incredible crews to community events, educational outreach, and special visits from Sydney the therapy dog, May was filled with moments that brought our teams together and strengthened our connection with the communities we serve.

We were also proud to support the 5K Healing Hearts race, joining community members in an event dedicated to health, wellness, and making a positive impact.

A first look of our EMS Week 2026 celebration across Alameda County 💙🚑

This week was filled with moments of recognition, connection, and appreciation for the people who show up every day to care for our communities. We’re honored to receive a proclamation from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors recognizing EMS Week and the dedication of EMS professionals across the region.

From visits at hospitals to time spent together at the hub and in the field, these moments reflect the teamwork, passion, and camaraderie that make our EMS family so special.

Another great weekend connecting with our community across Alameda County 💙🤠🚑

Our crews were proud to take part in the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade and the Castro Valley History Festival, sharing hands-only CPR, first aid, Stop the Bleed education, and ambulance tours with community members of all ages.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about emergency preparedness and the work our teams do every day to serve the community.

April in review with Alameda County 💙🚑

This month brought many moments worth celebrating, from our Winning Behaviors events recognizing the people and values that make our team strong, to another incredible Safe Kids Day at the Oakland Coliseum.

We loved connecting with families through helmet and booster seat fittings, hosting hands-only CPR, choking and Stop the Bleed education, ambulance tours, and sharing more about what we do through hands-on demos. Community moments like these are what make this work so meaningful.
