Celebrating the power of dreams at our 'Live A Dream' Happy Hour! ✨ We recently held a special ‘Live A Dream’ Happy Hour to celebrate Trilogy Health Services’ amazing Live a Dream program, which offers our seniors chances to enjoy activities that they used to do more often or maybe never got the opportunity to do in the first place. During the Happy Hour, residents filled out special cards to share their dreams with us and this August we will pick one of those dreams to fulfill! We also presented Suzanne O with some new plants to plant in her late husband’s “CJ’s Live a Dream Garden”, located in our Assisted Living courtyard. We then finished things off with the ✨HUGE ✨surprise announcement that Louise C.’s dream of “going to watch airplanes take off and land” will be fulfilled this month in the form of lunch for her and a friend at the French bistro Les Relais, located on at historic Bowman Airfield, where they will watch planes while they dine! ✈️🥖

🌸 Growth, Sunshine, and Green Thumbs on Legacy Lane! 🌿

Our Legacy Lane residents had a wonderful time soaking up the sunshine on a special outing to Lowe’s! Everyone loved exploring the garden center, picking out their favorite vibrant flowers, and even selecting some fresh herbs and brand-new planters for our courtyard.

Back home, we wasted no time getting our hands in the dirt! From planting fresh basil and rosemary in our raised beds to potting beautiful, bright petunias, our residents put so much love and care into beautifying our outdoor space.

There is nothing quite like the joy of watching hard work bloom. Stop by the courtyard next time you visit to see what’s growing!

Our 2026 Campus in Color program is thriving! 🌸 Last week, both our Resident Campus in Color Committee and our Legacy Lane took trips to Lowe’s to choose flowers and veggies that hold special significance. In addition to that, they’ve also been growing plants in seed starters that are off to a great start. We’re excited to share photos showcasing the beautiful transformation residents and staff are creating together. 🌿✨

Our look back at last week’s unforgettable Kentucky Derby Celebration continues🐎🎩. We didn’t just race beds and stick horses, or strut our stuff on the fashion runway. The week also included Residents making stylish Derby hats and crafting paddle wheel boats. A big highlight was an insightful talk with Mollie Gilin from the Kentucky Derby Museum, exploring the Derby’s rich history. The festivities wrapped up with a lively Derby Happy Hour featuring music by Mark Pyles, delicious fried green tomatoes and benedictine sandwich, and mint juleps! Cheers to a week of community, learning, and celebration!

🏇🎉 Our look back at our Kentucky Derby Week celebration continues. The Fourth Annual Willows at Springhurst Derby Fashion Show gave Residents and staff the chance to take the runway and showcase their style, poise, and creativity. A panel of judges evaluated on fashion, confidence, and crowd appeal—and it all lead to exciting wins! 🏆✨ We’re proud of everyone’s participation.
