Taylor Regional Hospital is helping make healthy choices easier for the Campbellsville community.
The hospital officially kicked off its Eat Better, Feel Better initiative yesterday, bringing together community leaders, local farmers, and health advocates with a shared goal: improving health through access to fresh, local food.
Throughout the summer, Taylor Regional will host a weekly farmers market, provide $5 Farmer Bucks coupons for community members, and purchase unsold produce to use within the hospital — supporting both local farmers and healthier lifestyles.
"As hospitals, we're often thought of as a place for rescue care, but we want you to come to the hospital to be healthy," said CEO Mike Everett. "We're going to keep eating better, we're going to keep feeling better, and we're going to do that one bite at a time."
