Sick Children's Clinic The Sick Children's Clinic provides FREE exams & meds for sick kids from newborns through high school Medicine is also FREE from our on-site pharmacy.

The Sick Children's Clinic has been a ministry of Second Baptist Church since 1964. It is a totally FREE clinic where sick children from newborns to age 17 can be treated. We are not able to do immunizations, school physicals or well-baby checks. The Clinic is staffed solely by volunteers, including the doctors. Most of our doctors come during their lunch hour and are at the clinic for a short tim

e. Regardless, they give each child and family their full attention. We do not make appointments, but operate on a walk-in basis. The clinic opens at different hours each day, Monday through Friday. The Clinic is funded by donations from Second Baptist Church, local organizations and individuals.

Thank you everyone one of my family & friends who have volunteered, prayed, shared and supported our mission. We look forward to opening up in August while continuing to strive to better serve our community. The Clinic is 100% free of charge to anyone newborn to 17/18yrs of age in high school. Minimal paperwork required.

Donations are accepted by mail to the clinic address below. Cash and checks (made out to Sick Children’s Clinic) please mail to 1002 Ave A, Lubbock Tx 79401.

FUNDING
All-volunteer operation
•Approx. 19 workers & In-Kind Support
•12 amazing doctors (2 pharmacists)

ALL of our funding goes to:
•Cost of medications (on-site RX & voucher scripts to United RX)
•Approx $4,000 spent thus far
•Estimated $9K-$10 annually
•Majority of our budget is for prescriptions treating asthma
•Lab tests (Urinalysis, CBCs...)
•Up-keep of building
