William Porter “Bill” Rhudy, III, 70, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Born on December 31, 1955, in Penn Yan, New York, he was the son of the late William P. Rhudy, Jr. and Betty Jean Andrews Rhudy.

Bill is survived by his partner, Dinah Arnott; his son, William Porter Rhudy IV, daughter-in-law April Rhudy, and their son, William Porter Rhudy V; and his son, Nick Rhudy, daughter-in-law Heather Rhudy, and their children, Katelynn, Braxton, and Re*****on.

Born in Lynchburg on October 19, 1949, she was the daughter of Evelyn Banton Hall and the late John Raymond Hall, Sr. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Fitzgerald, Sr., and her brother, Johnny Hall, Jr.

Maisie Mae Evans was gently welcomed into the hands of the Lord on her birthday, December 28, 2025.

Though our time with Maisie was heartbreakingly short, the love we have for her is never-ending. From the moment we knew of her, she was deeply cherished, surrounded by prayers, hopes, and love beyond measure. Though many never had the chance to hold her, she was known and loved by all who surrounded us. Maisie will forever be our daughter, held in our hearts for all time, and lovingly remembered by our family whose lives she changed in ways words cannot express.
