You're darn tootin' we got another Pet of the Week!

Cowboy is a playful, energetic adult dog who is ready to trade in his lone ranger days for a life full of adventure and companionship. He has plenty of zoomies to go around, but underneath that lively energy is a sweet and affectionate cuddlebug who loves to lean in for more pets and attention. He can be a little unsure when first meeting new people, so he is looking for a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in, build his confidence, and keep practicing his manners as he learns the ropes. Cowboy must go to a home with another dog, and apartment living is not for him. He’d also do best in a home without small kids. Cowboy has been added to Dane County Humane Society’s Lonely Hearts Club, and his adoption fee has been waived, making it an especially great time to meet him. He’s currently staying in a foster home, so interested adopters should contact DCHS’s Adoption Center to set up a visit.
