🇺🇸❤️ What a special day celebrating community, patriotism, and those who have served our country!

We were so excited to see so many of our residents getting out to exercise their right to VOTE today! It was wonderful to see everyone participating and making their voices heard!

And the celebrations continued as we had the privilege of honoring our very own veterans! Members of American Legion Post 229 Madison, Alabama joined us to present our veterans with a beautiful Certificate of Honor, a special door flag, and a heartfelt note of appreciation.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Commander Larry Vannoy, Adjutant Lori Latham, Chaplain Alan Watts, and Bill McGahey for taking the time out of your day to visit and recognize such a special group of individuals. Your thoughtfulness and kindness mean so much to our residents!

To all of our veterans, thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your service. We are forever grateful for you! ❤️🤍💙

🎃👻 A SPOOKTACULAR DAY OF HALLOWEEN FUN! 👻🎃

What a frightfully FUN day we had with our Assisted Living residents! 🧡 From our Halloween Party to our Trunk or Treat, our day was filled with costumes, laughter, sweet treats, and plenty of Halloween spirit! 🍬🍎

👻 The fun started with our staff showing off their creative costumes! From Woody, aka Mike our Maintenance Manager, to “Sergeant” Dianne JamarJamar (aka Activities Director) keeping the peace around our residence today, there was no shortage of participation. Then our residents joined in on the spooky fun, with a little extra help from Allison! 😉 We’ll let you see if you can spot her hiding behind her own spooky mask! 🫣

Our residents got creative with a hilarious Halloween Mad Lib and put their luck to the test playing “Poke A Pumpkin” 🎃🖐️ — where there were plenty of tricks AND treats!

A BIG thank-you to our staff members, including Jackie Davis (in her skeleton costume) and to Shelbee Knopf from Senior Helpers for helping make the day and our party so special! ❤️

And of course, Halloween wouldn’t be complete without LOTS of goodies! 🍬🍫🍎 Our candy and fruit supply was overflowing, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful Trunk or Treaters and supporters!

🎃👻 What a SPOOKTACULAR day at Madison City Senior Center Halloween Party! 🧡🖤

We had so much fun handing out goodie bags representing Madison Village, thoughtfully put together by our very own Breauna Baker! 🥰🎁 It was such a joy to share a little Halloween cheer with everyone!

🎉 The excitement didn’t stop there… we also got to find out the lucky winner of the Visa gift card! 💳🎉

And can we talk about those BACK SCRATCHERS?! 😂🙌 Let’s just say they were a BIG hit! Who knew such a simple little goodie could bring so much excitement?!

🧙‍♀️👻 From the Queen of Hearts to Dolly Parton to so many other fabulous costumes, everyone showed up and showed OUT! And Dianne Jamar….you were rockin’ that hat and those boots!!! The creativity was impressive, and the smiles were contagious. 💜🧡

One of our favorite parts of the day was meeting so many new faces, sharing laughs, and making wonderful new connections. That’s what community is all about! ❤️

A HUGE thank-you to Madison City Senior Center for having us. We loved being part of such a fun-filled day and can’t wait to do it again! 🎃🍂

🎃👻 What a BOO-tiful day of Halloween fun with our Independent Living residents! 🧡🖤

Today’s Halloween party was packed with spooky fun, laughter, and plenty of treats! 🍬🍪 Our residents tried their luck at “Poke A Pumpkin” to see if they’d get a trick or a treat, and we had lots of laughs creating a hilarious Mad Lib story with everyone contributing words to make the story come to life! 😂📖 Of course, no Halloween party would be complete without plenty of candy and delicious cookie treats! 🍭🍪

And now for the moment we’ve all been waiting for… 🥁 OUR COSTUME CONTEST WINNER! 🏆✨

Congratulations to Barbara, who absolutely brought it as “Sparkle” the Cat! 🐱💖 Her fabulous costume was already a contender, but it was her tail that sealed the deal! 😉🐈‍⬛ Barbara walked away with the coveted winning spot and a bag full of goodies! 🎁👏

A big thank-you to everyone who joined in the fun and made today so special. We love seeing our residents embrace the spirit of the season with creativity, humor, and a little Halloween mischief! 🎃🧡

A big shout-out to Debbie for leading our Independent Living residents in creating a beautiful fall craft! 🧡🍂 It was such a wonderful way to enjoy the season, share some creativity, and spend a delightful afternoon together.

As if that wasn’t enough, Debbie also treated everyone to delicious soup and yummy pumpkin pies! 🥣🥧 The extra touches made the afternoon even more special and brought so much warmth and joy to our residents.
