Like many in Dell Rapids, we were heartbroken to learn about the fire at Pinz this morning.
While many people understandably focus on the loss of the building, it’s easy to overlook the employees and families who suddenly lost their workplace and source of income. Casey, his family, and the entire Pinz team have been an important part of our community for years, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.
Beginning this afternoon, Dairy Queen Dell Rapids will be collecting donations for the Pinz Employee Relief Fund. Every dollar raised will go directly to current Pinz employees affected by the fire.
To help make an even bigger impact, Dairy Queen will match all guest donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500.
Small towns are special because when one neighbor is hurting, the entire community comes together. We take care of our own.
