Saturday was a beautiful day to get together with the horses and relax, release, and reconnect to ourselves. The horses gave us the gift of helping to do this plus build boundaries and release what wasn't ours to keep. ❤️🐴

The Horse & the Heart Connection

Horses have taught me so much about energy, presence, and connection.

They are incredibly sensitive to the people and animals around them. They notice our emotions, our body language, our breathing, and the energy we bring into the space. They don't need words to tell us what they are feeling. They communicate through presence, feeling, and trust.

This is one of the reasons horses are such an important part of my work.

When I am with a horse and a person, I am paying attention to the connection between them. I slow down, become present, listen, and notice what is happening. Sometimes the horse reflects what the person may be feeling or holding onto without even realizing it.
The horse isn't there to heal someone. The horse is part of the experience and part of the connection.

My Reiki, Healing Touch, and light therapy are tools I use to support the body and energy system. The horse brings something very special to that work — presence, awareness, trust, and a connection that doesn't need words.

For me, the healing work is not about forcing something to happen.

It is about creating a safe and peaceful space where people and animals can slow down, reconnect, and listen to what their body and heart may be saying.

The horse helps bring us back to what is already there — the connection, the feeling, and the heart.
For me, it all comes back to the heart.

⚡ YOU DON'T ALWAYS NEED TO MOVE FORWARD.

Sometimes, life asks you to stop.

Not because you're failing.
Not because you've lost your way.
But because you've been moving for so long that you've forgotten what it feels like to simply **be**.

Horses know this instinctively.

They don't hurry you toward an answer.
They don't ask you to explain what you're feeling.
They don't need you to have it all figured out.

They simply meet you where you are.

And when you're beside a horse, something shifts.

Your breathing slows.
Your shoulders soften.
The noise begins to quiet.

For a moment, there is nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Nothing you need to become.

Just you.
The horse.
The earth beneath your feet.
And the rhythm of your breath.

🌿 Maybe today isn't asking you to try harder.

Maybe it's asking you to **come back to yourself.**

To pause.
To listen.
To notice what your body has been trying to tell you.

Because slowing down isn't standing still.

Sometimes, **slowing down is how you find your way forward.**

The hardest thing about loving a pet is losing that pet 💔😢

I know... I have been there too many times myself. As a Reiki Master, Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner, and Pet Doula I want to give people the support I never had when I needed it. Energy work helps make the transition more peaceful at the time for both the pet and pet parent and helps with grief and trauma. You will never hear me say it's just a dog, or cat, or horse. My heart goes out to all of you dealing with pet loss 💚

When your animal is going through a transition, you don't have to walk through it alone.

As a pet doula, I support people and their animals through the different stages and transitions of their journey together.

My work is centered around the heart connection between people and animals.
I offer a safe, supportive space to listen, connect, and help bring understanding when things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or difficult.

This may include support through illness, changes, end-of-life, loss, grief, or other transitions. I can also help you better understand what your animal may be experiencing emotionally and energetically.

I don't tell you what you should do.

I'm here to listen, connect, and support you and your animal in whatever you are experiencing.

Because the bond we share with our animals is so deeply connected.

Sometimes we just need someone who understands that bond and can be there with us.

At the heart of everything I do is Infinite Heart Connection. ❤️

I am so excited to not only be on the board of this organization but to also be involved with helping the animals with trauma and well-being! Thus supporting their people by giving their animals a safe place until they can be together again! 💞

Reiki is a gentle, heart-centered way of offering support, relaxation, and balance.
For me, Reiki is not just about a technique. It is about the heart connection — slowing down, being present, listening, and creating a safe space for the person or animal I am working with.

Reiki can be a beautiful support for times when you or your animal companion may need a little extra care, comfort, grounding, or simply a quiet place to be.
Whether I am working with a person or an animal, the heart connection is at the center of what I do. ❤️
